Would You?
Hypothetically take Greenwood from the Mancs?

Reading that he thinks his career there is over but wants to play, desperately
Mancs face 'reputational damage' if they retain him and appear to want out if they can navigate wrongful dismissal claims

A wrongun swimming in a pool of wronguns is my thinking, no charges brought, a bloody good player too - I'm in

No way. The bloke is clearly major trouble, and it's a PR disaster.

What's an ordinary prisoner though?

I know for sure that if any of the changing rooms i've ever been in, and I have played with many complete arrogant pricks over the years... if we'd all heard the audio from the Greenwood case there's no way he'd be welcomed. We just wouldn't have it. And like I said, i've played with so many absolute cunts as you do at that crappy inbetween level where blokes think they should be playing higher.. but none of us would have that.

Conviction or no conviction it's all there to listen to. It's so uncomfortable to listen to. A complete wrongun. There's no grey area or doubt, like maybe there was with the Ched Evans case where we can't be sure what happened.

Not saying he can't be rehabilitated, but I doubt many normal people would be having him. Having said all that, he'll almost certainly get loads more chances because football and society in general has lost the plot.

But thankfully that audio will always will be there to listen to. There can be no denial or excuses.

Cunt.

I remember a debate on here during Alladyce's time at the based on whether we should sign El Haj Diouf. Horrible cunt who loved to spit at people and the overwhelming view was that the bloke shouldnt be anywhere near iur club. I was one of those who hated the idea of him pulling on the shirt and as vile as spitting on people is, it comes nowhere close to what Greenwood has done so no thanks, massive pass from me.

Re: Would You?
No.

Asides from the ethical side of it, you can see from the replies here how polarising his presence would be. His presence would completely divide the dressing room and ruin any team spirit.

I suspect part of the reason Man United under achieved this season was partly due to this.

Re: Would You?
Clearly an absolute lowlife

Would only want to play for us if that’s his only choice

Are we really that desperate ?

No brainer 100% NO from me

No for me

Geezer sounds a cunt outside of football comes with a family entourage as well. If Greenwood was some chav from the estate he wouldn't have been able to afford the legal representation that was able to put the necessary pressure on the CPS

There are no doubt a fair few other wronguns playing out there who haven't been outed yet due to super injunctions and hush money.

Not for me.

I don't have kids yet but if I did I wouldn't want them looking up to this prick as a role model.

What Zouma did has fuck all to do with this.

Cats are cats, and women are human. Seemingly, some people need to be told this.

Re: Would You?
Anyone prepared to give him a chance because he might be cheap and might score goals either doesn’t have a mother, sister, daughter, female friends etc or does and doesn’t care about the violence they can face in life from scummy blokes with no morals.

Let him be someone else’s “bargain”. They can focus on the cost and ignore the value.

If Greenwood agreed to have his penis and testicles cut off, I might consider it, but probably still a no.

I’m still undecided between lengthy prison sentence or castration for him let alone him ever playing for us.

Re: Would You?
How would this go?

Mason Greenwood’s magic,
He wears a magic hat,
And when you throw a bird at him,
He throws her on her back.
He rapes her in the fanny,
He rapes her in the arse,
And when he bangs a hat trick in,
We all give him a pass!

Ooooohhhhh……..

Naaah, not for me.

Re: Would You?
No chance. A football club is a lot more about just winning football matches on a Saturday afternoon, or in our case trying to. Apparently we do a lot of work these days in the community, fuck sending this vile fucker to see local kids in hospitals before Christmas :-)
